OUR TEAM & MASCOT

Rita Mukerji is an M.Sc. (Physics) and her professional qualifications include: CAIIB (Certificated Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers), MBA (Faculty of Management Studies – FMS – Delhi University) and a course on Women in Management from IIM Ahmedabad. After a distinguished academic career, she put in several years in the banking industry and now looks after diverse business interests. She has been the recipient of diverse awards including:

• The “Bharat Nirman” award for outstanding women managers.
• The “Mahila Shiromani” award for outstanding women entrepreneurs.

Over the years, Rita Mukerji effectively undertook marketing and coordination challenges in a reforming and rapidly growing economy. In various capacities, over the years, Ms Rita Mukerji has been associated, in a consultative capacity, with different infrastructure projects involving coal handling facility, environmental training & planning, waste management, power and highways.

The armadillo, which means the “little armored one” in Spanish, is the cute yet very doughty scaly, armored ant eater of the Americas. The “Aarkadillo” combines the secure morphology of the armadillo with the Aarktech philosophy of scientific enquiry as well as the slightly rakish charm of an IT entrepreneur. Our mascot symbolises the Aarktech commitment to building secure, impenetrable IT environments and products coupled with the spirit of inquiry and research into the security domain of Information Technology reflected in the van dyke beard and rimless glasses of the Aarkadillo. The headgear, worn by the Aarkadillo, means that we always keep client related information where it should be: firmly under our hats.
